Community Update
In 2024 we marked the 50th Anniversary of the founding of our Residents’ Association, through a programme of public events and publications, including the first edition of the IWERA On Track Journal. The journal was launched in October in the Model School and was distributed throughout the estate in the lead into our recent Samhain / Halloween Event. Also attached is a four-page supplement, produced in association with Dublin City Council that both contextualises our working relationship to the Council, and profiles the recently elected City Councillors for the Inchicore area along with the relevant local area team officers, with direct contact information for all. The Journal is a basic attempt at illustrating the work of IWERA in recent times, through the work of a strategic planning team and lays the ground for the Starting Again initiative in the first quarter of 2025 – leading to our forthcoming AGM on Thursday April 24th .
